Stardew Valley sends us some sleepy time jazz music

Updated: Jul 9, 2021

On the lookout for some peaceful jazz music with a familiar gaming twist? The spring 2021 release of Scarlet Moon Records' Prescription for Sleep: Stardew Valley is your match.

The jazzy Game Music Lullabies series continues with Prescription for Sleep: Stardew Valley. ConcernedApe, the creator of Stardew Valley, worked with saxophonist and pianist duo GENTLE LOVE on this album.

"I actually listened to a lot of GENTLE LOVE while developing Stardew Valley," reflects Stardew Valley creator and composer Eric "ConcernedApe" Barone. "And now, to hear my melodies masterfully re-imagined and expanded upon by them is a great honor and a treat to me. This album is something I will personally cherish for the rest of my life, and I hope it brings you a lot of peace and happiness!"

I've found this is the perfect album to listen to when I'm at home enjoying time on the couch working on crafts or taking a nap break with my cats. The music is so calming, peaceful and reminiscent of the hours I've invested in playing Stardew Valley.
